Description
We are looking for a qualified Third Officer to join our container vessel fleet. The successful candidate will be responsible for navigation watchkeeping, safety equipment maintenance, and cargo documentation under the supervision of the Chief Officer.
Responsibilities
• Navigation watchkeeping on container vessels
• Maintenance of life-saving and fire-fighting equipment
• Chart corrections and passage planning assistance
• Cargo documentation and manifest handling
• Compliance with ISM Code and company SMS
Requirements
• Valid COC (STCW III/1) or equivalent
• Minimum 12 months sea-time as Deck Cadet
• GMDSS GOC certificate
• Valid medical fitness certificate
• Good command of English
