Description
Monitor and manage vessel traffic in the Gulf Maritime operational area using advanced radar and AIS systems. Ensure safe navigation and prevent maritime incidents.
Responsibilities
• Monitor vessel movements using VTS equipment
• Communicate with vessels on VHF channels
• Coordinate with port control and pilots
• Maintain traffic logs and reports
• Respond to emergency situations
Requirements
• Maritime Transport degree or equivalent
• VTS Operator certificate (or willingness to obtain)
• Excellent English communication
• Ability to work in shifts
• Knowledge of COLREGS
